Free-lance interpreter - Arabic booth
I have always wanted to improve my English but I did not know how. I did not want to take boring lessons after work. When I read that this program was co-organized by two AIIC interpreters, I knew that it was what I was looking for. Of course, I signed up for this programme in Barbados to improve my English and discover a new culture ... but also to spend my honeymoon, killing two (or more) birds with one stone.
I gained a wealth of knowledge from the eloquent speakers, amiable instructors and the very competent participants (they were an added value to this program). I was taking notes till the end, till the graduation ceremony in fact. It was a memorable experience that I will never forget. It helped me deepen my knowledge about the Caribbean and broaden my horizons.
It was not just a language course but an enlightening journey.
I am more than thankful for this experience.
